Vapor & iOS Developer

Job description

It's exciting times for working with server-side Swift and Vapor and we're now looking into growing our Vapor team by getting one Vapor & iOS Developer on board for our office in Copenhagen.

Since creating our Vapor team in January 2017, we've done more than 40 customer projects (5 using Vapor 3) and we maintain around 35 open source packages at (with around 10 ready for Vapor 3).

About you

You have developed backend or iOS for a long period of time, and therefore have something you can show us - either live projects or snippets/projects on GitHub. You are highly passionate about development, and aren’t afraid to push technologies or yourself to the limit to create super cool projects. You like working with cutting edge technologies and you're passionate about contributing to the community.

Who are Nodes?

We are a young, ambitious mobile agency working with all sorts of digital solutions, mainly driven around mobile development. We are in total 80+ employees across our 7 offices in Europe including Copenhagen, London, Berlin and Prague. We are a bunch of geeks who love to discuss everything from robot programming and the latest web-based trends, to the newest native OS features during our lunch breaks. We have a young, informal work culture with a flat structure and good camaraderie.


It’s important you have the following:

  • 3+ years’ experience with OOP
  • Experience with Swift
  • Have worked with RESTful APIs
  • Take responsibility of projects you are working on
  • Proactive
  • Quality conscious
  • Attention to detail 

It’s advantageous if you have following:

  • Experience with server-side Swift (specially Vapor)
  • Git
  • Unit Testing
  • Software design patterns
  • Linux
